Underneath the demonstrations is a single discipline: facts are recorded, evidence is preserved, obligations attach only on acceptance, and every conclusion is derived — never authored over the top of the record.
The implementation serves the Constitution. It records; it never invents. Every answer is a projection of the facts beneath it.
The Engine builds accountability up in layers. Each layer has one job and preserves its own history. Because higher layers are derived from lower ones, nothing at the top can contradict the record at the bottom.

“What is this case?”
The foundational canonical record. It fixes the immutable identity of a case and captures the observed factual context, preserving every change as an append-only revision rather than an overwrite.

Evidence
“What demonstrates it?”
Canonical representations of the evidence that support findings. The original artifact stays authoritative; evidence records are immutable and never store conclusions of their own.

Obligations
“Who became accountable, and how?”
Obligation is the atomic unit of accountability. Assignment, transmission, notification, recommendation, and referral do not establish it — only acceptance does, and that moment is what the record preserves.

Accountability Records
“What was found?”
Immutable records that demonstrate findings from constitutional facts. Corrections supersede prior versions rather than erasing them, so the history of what was known, and when, is never lost.

Engine Answers
“What can be concluded?”
Answers are generated from one or more accountability records — never the reverse. An Engine Answer is a derived projection of the record, always traceable back to the facts and evidence beneath it.

Demonstrated Knowledge
“What has this organization already shown?”
A fully derived view of the patterns an organization has demonstrated across its canonical records. It persists nothing, creates no records, and traces every result back to the original artifacts.
